Our Sunday Services
Sunday Morning at 8.45am - Holy Communion
This is a said service of Holy Communion. The sermon is short, and is based on the Bible readings for that day.
Sunday Morning at 10.30 am - Family Service
This service has informal worship, using modern worship songs, led by a music group, and the service has clear Biblical preaching, within the framework of the Church of England liturgical pattern.
The form of worship does vary from week to week, with a Baptism Service being held on the first Sunday in each month. Holy Communion on the second Sunday, and a Parade Service for our uniformed organisation on the third Sunday each month.
Toddlers and children are always welcome, with activities usually being arranged for them on most Sunday mornings.
Usually in the form of “Godly Play”, which is led by responsible parents and helpers.
Sunday Evening at 6.00pm - Evening Worship
This is a more formal service and makes use of either the Book of Common Prayer, or Common Worship. Hymns are sung, and a sermon is preached.
Please check our Weekly Diary pages to ensure that the 8.45am, or the 6.00pm are actually being
held, as we now meet occasionally at either St Luke’s, or St Ambrose Church for these services.
